Picture Update

This is the gift I got as part of the homemade give away. Thanks Bethany!! I only have one taker so far so anybody that wants to get something just tell me on this post!

This belly picture is special for Mom because I know you love this sweater! It's stretchy enough I can still wear it!

One without the sweater. I am 27 weeks now and starting my third trimester. I'm almost there!

Wicked... Amazing!

So I meant to post this on Saturday but I didn't!

Wicked was absolutely amazing! If you ever get the chance to see it, go! I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was. Glinda was played by the understudy when we saw it but she was amazing! I really think she did a fantastic job!

Daniel did a great job at getting our seats. We were on the floor about 14 rows from the front and pretty close to the middle. We could see everything easily.

This is a picture of Glinda giving Elphaba a make over. It really was one of the funniest scenes!

All in all my first experience with a broadway show was great! It was the perfect end to an awesome birthday!

I am going to try and get some pictures taken today and will post them later. Brooke asked me the other day if I am fat and said yes so even though she doesn't check this I will post so people can see the progress. Talk to you later!

Funny Boy!

Just as I finished my post yesterday Benson was being a funny boy. He likes to turn our foot rest upside down and stand in it, not that he is allowed to!! He got his tool box and put it in it and then climbed in with his blanket over his head. Bens stayed like that for quite awhile!

So here he is in the foot rest.

Now for the action shot of him taking his blanket off. I thought it was pretty cool picture!

Yesterday we went to the park with Bens' friend Chandler and Davey. Daniel came with us so all of us Mom's got to sit and watch while Daniel played with all the kids. That also meant that I had a perfect view of Bens when he biffed it on the playground and slammed his cheek into a balance beam. The poor kiddo cried for about a minute and then was off playing again. You can see the bruise it left on his cheek in these pictures. But he is enjoying his breakfast here so you know he isn't too affected by it!

A better shot of his poor little cheek. What a trooper!

Daniel is going to be writing his last exams tomorrow for the term. We are looking forward to our two week break! We plan on sticking around Portland for it. I am looking forward to exploring around here. We plan on going to the coast for part of the break. It will be great.

Tomorrow will be a good kick off to the break though. Daniel got tickets to Wicked for my birthday so we get to go see it, yay!! I will post later to let you know how it goes!! That's all for now!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

So we are wishing everybody a belated Happy St. Patty's Day! I meant to post yesterday but I decided to nap instead! Benson looked cute in his green outfit and had fun chasing after the camera. He just wanted to look at himself on the camera!

Here he looks like he is ready to pinch anybody that isn't wearing green. Mom I think that one is for you!

Bens has been loving my dishcloths lately. He had them in the living room and played with them all morning.

I don't know. He is just too cute!

Here you get to see the full effect of his outfit. What a cutie he is!

Some of you may know that last week was super rough for us. Between Bens being sick, me getting sick and Bens not sure how to deal with his aches and pains. Well this week has been 100 times better. Monday night he was really cute a bed time and started to do the actions to his song again.

He has started talking a lot lately. He has been saying Yeah, no and ow. He asks for his milk and juice a lot and his blankey. He has said Thank-you a few times and will ask 'What was that?'. He is really getting better at talking on the phone too.

Well here is a video from yesterday. Enjoy!

This week has been a crazy week of tantrums, sickness and just being cooped up! We are getting better now though.

Just a reminder for anybody that wants to get in on the handmade giveaway. Nobody has signed up and I would love to make stuff for you! As soon as I get my gift put up I will post a picture of what Bethany made for me. It is super cute!

Anyways, I need to go.

Wild Card...

So American Idol announced last night who the possible wild card contestants could be. Surprise Tatiana is one of the wild cards! Yikes!

They asked her how she was feeling and all she did was blubber and talk in a high pitched squeal! I muted it so I wouldn't have to listen to it. Daniel pointed out that wasn't acting at all... aka... marketing herself. She was the same as in Hollywood week. I am nervous to watch tonight as I don't understand how this wildcard show is going to work. I sure hope she doesn't end up in the top 12!

I got an email from my Mom last night saying she could hear me fuming up in Canada! I'm not surprised but it brought a good laugh to me! Thanks Mom!

Home made pass on!

Thanks Bethany for posting on your blog! This should be fun! I have no idea what I will do but think it should be fun!

So, here's how this game works-the first 5 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the next couple of months, a handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Leave your comment, then write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Now sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Remember, only the first five get a gift.

Have a great day and stay posted for a rant about American Idol... ugh!

Pictures

These are the flowers that Daniel got me for Valentine's Day! I'm not a huge fan of roses so these are perfect!!

Every Sunday we get together with some friends for a potluck dinner.

Mike was the lucky one who the kids decided should feed them desert! They were so funny because every time Mike got some more they would open their mouths and wait for it!

I gave Benson a bowl of oatmeal yesterday and this is what he looked like when he finished. He likes to feed himself so there is always a mess but I really enjoyed the glob on his eye!

My Mom gave Bens these gloves at Christmas and he has decided that it is really cool to wear them around now.

He is such a cutie! He has started to talk a lot more! Bens started to imitate monkey and elephant noises after I make them. Every once in a while he will say a phrase and then won't say it again.

Well not too much exciting is going on here so I am out!
